Drawn to the arts at a young age, he studied Classical Guitar as a music major. In his early twenties he made the switch to Ballroom Dance. At the behest of his sister, Mary, Nathan became a professional teacher in the family dance studio.
After several years teaching he wanted to challenge himself and better his dancing with professional competition. With the help and support of mentor Diane Jarmolow, he found a partner in Lecie McNees.
In four short years they climbed the professional competitive ranks and Nathan is now called for numerous coaching/teaching/perfoming jobs throughout the United States and Carribean.
Nathan's main passion is in teaching dance, though he has taught Classical Guitar as well. With his background in music, his lessons offer a unique perspective. Nathan's students reap the rewards from his years of studying both dance and music. In the pro/am division, he has students who have reached top awards at all major competitions in the United States.
